Adult Development Program
If you are a beginner skater who wants to further develop your skills for enjoying the game of hockey, we recommend our Adult Development Program (ADP). The Adult Development Program teaches new to hockey players everything from how to put on your gear, to individual skills like skating, shooting, passing and more.
Ages
Participants must be 18 when the session starts.
When
ADP runs throughout the year on Monday nights. Each session is 8 classes long, with each class lasting 80 minutes.
Where
All classes take place at the Ice Sports Center located at:
3185 Leeman Ferry Road, Huntsville AL 35801
What are we required to wear?
All participants must have full hockey gear.
Gear is not provided. Contact the Hockey Office at mkubaliak@tphacademy.com if you would like to rent equipment or contact the skate shop at 256-880-7860 if you would like to purchase equipment.
You will need:
- Hockey skates (NOT figure skates)
- Shin guards
- Hockey pants
- Hockey socks
- Elbow pads
- Helmet
- Gloves
- Stick
- Hockey jersey (black or white preferred)
Who is this program for?
EVERYONE 18 years old and over! All genders are welcome and there is NO HOCKEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Jerseys
Jerseys are NOT provided for this program. As mentioned above a black or white jersey is preferred but not required.
